Power Pricing now works with Sodium

Power Pricing now connects to Sodium, the UK practice management system.

Sold in Power Pricing, done in Sodium. When your client signs their proposal, they appear in your Sodium straight away, with the services they signed up for already set up. Nobody re-keys a thing.

The whole thing in 42 seconds. The client and practice names are made up.

Why we built it

Most firms have a step after the signature that nobody really owns. Somebody opens the practice management system and sets the new client up all over again: their details, their contact, and each service they have bought, so the work can be scheduled. It happens days later, from a PDF, and it is where things get missed.

Now it happens on its own, the moment the client signs.

Price the whole job, then deliver all of it

Power Pricing prices the full scope of what you do for a client, service by service: annual accounts, VAT returns, payroll, management accounts, bookkeeping and everything else you offer. Every piece of work is named and priced, so the client sees the full value of what you are doing for them, and you are paid for all of it.

The Sodium connection carries that same scope straight into your workflow. Each service the client signs up for lands against the matching service in your Sodium, so the deadlines and recurring work you have set up for those services follow from the day they sign. The VAT quarters, the year-end accounts, the monthly payroll: none of it depends on somebody remembering to set it up. That is how you build the efficient practice you want, where what you sell and what you deliver are one and the same.

What lands in your Sodium

Side by side: on the left, a signed Power Pricing proposal for Harbour Coffee Ltd listing Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax, Bookkeeping, VAT Returns and Payroll with their monthly fees, £325 in total. An arrow labelled The moment they sign points to the right, where the same client in Sodium has Year End Accounts and Corporation Tax, Bookkeeping and Record Keeping, VAT Returns and Payroll Bureau set up and active at the same fees, each starting 1 November 2026.

  • The client and their main contact.
  • The services they signed up for, each mapped to your own Sodium service, at the fee agreed.
  • The start date from the proposal.
  • Any one-off services on the proposal.

You can see exactly what each client has signed up for, and nobody has to set the same services up a second time for workflow.

There is also a Push to Sodium option on any signed proposal, which is handy for clients who signed before you connected.

Which proposals do what

  • New Client. The client, their contact and the services they signed up for are all set up in Sodium.
  • Extra Work. Just the new services are added, alongside what the client already has.
  • Renewal and Reprice. Any new service is added. Services the client already has in Sodium are left exactly as they are, fee included, so if a fee has changed you update it there.

Safe by design

Power Pricing only ever adds to your Sodium. It never deletes, ends or overwrites anything already there, and it leaves auto-invoicing switched off, so nothing changes about how you invoice today. Push the same proposal twice and nothing is duplicated.

Set up in a couple of minutes

  1. In Sodium, create an API key.
  2. In Power Pricing, open Settings, go to Integrations, paste the key into the Sodium card and click Connect Sodium.
  3. Match your Power Pricing services to your Sodium services, once.

From then on, every client who signs appears in your Sodium within seconds, ready for your team to start the work.

Built with Sodium

Sodium was built API-first, which is what makes a connection this direct possible. Thank you to Duane Jackson and the Sodium team for working through it with us. You can find out more about Sodium at sodiumhq.com.
