New things in the product, and improvements to what is already there, newest first. Written in terms of what it means for your firm rather than what it means to a developer.

New featureIntegrations
Look clients up on Companies House while you quote
On a limited company quote, type the client's name and pick the company from Companies House. The registered name, year end and client type fill in, the current directors are offered under Contact name, overdue accounts are flagged with a one-click Prior Year Accounts, and the client's compliance record picks up the registered details when you send. A year end or client type you have already set is never changed.
A new one-off service prices an individual's overdue personal tax return on its own, so you no longer need to set an earlier start date to cover it. The engagement letter's dates stay in line with when you actually took the client on.
New featureProspects
See when a client has opened a proposal, and how many times
A sent proposal now shows as Opened once the client has actually looked at it, with a view count on the prospect card and in the Proposals workspace. You can also switch on an email that tells you the moment a client opens a proposal for the first time.
New featurePricing and proposals
Charge a catch-up fee per service, without changing the start date
If a client is behind on some services and up to date on others, say so on each one. A 'Bring up to date' control on the services that allow it lets you record exactly how many months to charge for, so the fee reflects the real gap without moving the engagement's start date in the letter.
New featurePricing and proposals
Spread a catch-up fee over the rest of the accounts period
A catch-up fee no longer has to be asked for in one go. Turn it on for a single quote, or set it as your firm's default, and the fee is spread across the months left in the client's accounts period. The client sees a monthly figure everywhere it appears, including the engagement letter, and Xero gets a repeating invoice that stops itself after the right number of months.
New featureIntegrations
Collect by Direct Debit through Adfin
Adfin is now switched on for every firm, and the Direct Debit status shows on the proposal itself, so you can see whether a client's mandate is in place without opening another system.
Put an existing client's current fee on their record and the app shows the difference against what your own pricing produces. The repricing conversation then starts from a number rather than a feeling.
The VAT-inclusive toggle says which document it changes
Switching to figures including VAT now tells you which document is affected, so you are not turning it on and then checking three places to see what moved.
ImprovedOnboarding and compliance
Set your own floor for the AML risk rating
The risk category on a prospect is worked out live from the risk factors you tick. If your firm treats Medium as its normal starting point rather than Low, you can now set that floor in Settings and no client comes out rated beneath it. It is set per firm, so nobody else's records move.
ImprovedOnboarding and compliance
The compliance screen tells you your changes are saved
A plain confirmation on the onboarding and compliance screen, so you are never left wondering whether a risk assessment actually went in.
New featurePricing and proposals
Put your revenue bands in your own order
Drag the bands into the order you actually think about client size in, rather than working around the order they came in.
Onboarding work opens in Karbon the moment a client signs
If your firm runs on Karbon, a signature now creates the client and opens the onboarding work item from your own template, assigned, with the one-off fee already on it. Nobody has to notice and start it by hand.
Draft Xero invoices raised straight from a signed proposal
When a client signs, Power Pricing creates the contact in your own Xero, a draft invoice for the one-off fees and a draft repeating invoice for the monthly fee. Each service can carry its own account code, so the invoices arrive coded the way your accounts already are.
Firms using Xama can have the identity check happen as part of signing, while the client still has the proposal in front of them. The result lands on their prospect card, so there is no second chase.
The VAT rate used across your proposals is yours to set, rather than a number baked into the software.
New featurePricing and proposals
Price company formation and incorporation
Formation work is priced in the quote alongside everything else. Incorporation is a service line in its own right rather than a question tucked inside company formation, so the two are scoped and priced separately, and the onboarding form asks the extra questions that go with them.
New featurePricing and proposals
Show figures including VAT, one proposal at a time
For a client who thinks in gross numbers, turn VAT-inclusive figures on for that proposal alone. It stays off everywhere else.
New featurePricing and proposals
MTD for Income Tax, priced as its own service
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax has its own questions and its own line in the quote, instead of being folded into something that was never meant to carry it.
Settings, proposals and prospects belong to the firm rather than to whoever happened to create them, so anyone on the team can pick up where another left off.
An owner-managed group, say a trading company, a property company and the director's own tax return, can be priced in a single proposal. Company tabs on the pricing screen, a combined group total, one engagement letter carrying a schedule of entities with each company's own key dates, and one signature. The group gets a single prospect card, and Xero invoices go to the lead company with the lines attributed per company.
New featurePricing and proposals
Three-option proposals
Present Essential, Standard and Premium instead of one price. You set two multipliers, the app builds all three from your normal quote, and the engagement letter follows whichever the client picks.
Your own services get their own engagement letter schedule
A service you added yourself now carries a schedule in the engagement letter, just as a built-in one does. Start it from a template, and the service card tells you whether its schedule has been written yet. If a proposal is about to go out with one still missing, you are told before it reaches the client rather than after.
New featureEngagement letters
Every service schedule is yours to edit
Every schedule in the engagement letter can be edited in Settings: what we do, what you do, and the key dates, each a list you can work through a line at a time or paste in wholesale. Merge fields fill in the client's year end, their filing deadlines and their name, so one piece of wording serves every client.
